Flip Planner: Hello 2011

A4 Calender consisting
of 13 A5 pages

Hello 2011: Flip Planner is a calender devised to be both a per month calender and yearly wall planner. The months are spaced from the previous allowing the user to puts notes in each month while keeping the year clearly visible. The notes of upcoming months are hidden allowing the user to focus on the current month. As the year progresses previous months are flipped out of view to reveal the message "Goodbye 2011, Hello 2012."

This personal project came about from the frustration using everyday calenders and year planners. The problem was that per month calenders allow the use on the current month without seeing the upcoming year, whereas yearly wall planners are usually large but previous months are still in view as the year progresses. The idea was to combine the features of both styles to produce something functional and beautiful.
